SYDNEY RUBIN

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and a passion for sports and storytelling. Originally from Portland, Oregon, I grew up going to Trail Blazers games with my dad. That's where my love for sports originated.

 

As associate sports editor for The Daily Texan and beat writer for Texas women's basketball, I reported on hoops and all things Texas Longhorns during the 2016-17 school year. My experiences with Longhorn Network and The Daily Texan have brought me to the sideline of Texas football games and to the NCAA Women's Sweet 16 in Lexington, Kentucky.
